Raison pratique et information asymétrique : Pour une éthique de la communication dans un monde risquophobe
Keywords:
information, decision making, bounded rationality, ethics, game theoryAbstract
In their attempt to morally justify a « good » decision, the main theories in normative ethics ignore inescapable parameters of the decision-making process. Yet an important class of non-cooperative games studies more specifically the role of these parameters in agents’ decision-making process. These are games of asymmetric information with an agentprincipal model. In the first part, this article examines the functioning of agent rationality when these parameters are taken into account. The second part emphasizes the ethical issues resulting from that “broader” notion of rationality.
